How Do We Maintain Our Impeccable Safety Record?

• Before beginning any project, we develop a project specific safety plan.
• We review the Owner, RGD, and OSHA safety guidelines for each project. We choose the most stringent of the three to use throughout the project.
• All of our subcontractors are prequalified and must meet the same safety standards as the RGD team.
• No work is performed unless a full time, safety trained RGD employee is present.
• A comprehensive job hazard analysis is performed and enforced with all work crews involved.

North Carolina Building Star

The NC Department of Labor's Carolina Star Program is administered through the Education, Training, and Technical Assistance Bureau of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Division. The Carolina Star Program is designed to recognize employers and employees who have implemented effective safety and health management systems and maintain injury and illness rates that meet the criteria for participation. Star Program participants are proactive and partner with the NC Department of Labor's OSH Division in an effort to prevent fatalities, injuries, and illnesses through a system focused on:

• Hazard Identification and Evaluation
• Hazard Prevention and Control
• Safety and Health Training
