Vaccine Manufacturing Facility

Created a new GMP production area to accommodate manufacture of a recently purchased vaccine.

Building and IGIVc WFI Upgrade Project

Cost — $10M

Improved reliability of WFI pumps throughout facility, resulting in an increased number of weekly production runs.

Site—SVP Finishing Room

Cost — $1.3M

Construction Management and Procurement for renovation of existing plant areas and installation of new product finishing line room.

Cooling Tower Upgrade

Contracted for a fast track project to upgrade four cooling towers, five cooling tower pumps, and two filters. Executed during plant turnaround.

Biomass Boiler & Cogeneration Plant

Cost — $7.9M

Managed this project for planning and construction of new Biomass Boiler and Cogeneration Facility on existing plant site.

SFF Syringe Filler Capacity Increase

Cost — $10M

Provided project support to replace operator dependent syringe filler process with automated system, that has capacity of up to 5,000 syringes per hour.

Filling Upgrade Project

Cost — $21M

Provide planning, procurement & construction management services for Renovation & Upgrade of existing filling area.

Secondary Chilled Water Upgrade

Cost — $12M

Project Management and Construction services to project that included converting existing chilled water pump, removal and replacement of 2 pumps to supply tertiary HVAC glycol to the existing chilled water system.

Site Wide PCS Upgrade

Cost — $5M

Provided services to construct central control room, complete with Distributed Delta V control system, redundant UPS, and dedicated HVAC for manufacturing building.

Waste Water pH Neutralization Building

Cost — $2.3M

Construction Management and Commissioning services for waste water treatment upgrades and automation.

R22 Fractionation Refrigeration Upgrades Project

Cost — $6M

Construction Management and Procurement activities for replacement of outdated refrigeration systems.

Alpha — 1MP Project

Cost — $2M

Contract Management services project to enable production of aerosol formulation.

FP Expansion

Cost — $34M

Construction Management services for expansion to existing facility. Project created 91,000 sqft of manufacturing, packaging, storage, office, and conference space.

Aseptic Optimization Capacity Project

Cost — $25M

A multi—phase conversion of 43,000 sqft of existing production and support space into additional lab, office, and support space.

Vaccine Development Lab Equipment Removal

Cost — $10M

Project Management services from inception to job completion. Project duties included scheduling, supervision of contractors and coordination of all contractors’ work, to ensure completion was done safely, on schedule, and within budget.

AT—III Manufacturing Project

Cost — $34.7M

Program and Project Management for a renovation project to install new unit operations for Anti—Thrombate III manufacturing.

Manufacturing Facility Turnaround

Cost — $75M

Project Management, Planning & Construction Management for 2008 turnaround.

EU Readiness Project

Cost — $8M

Planning & Construction Management services for project to Upgrade BVD Vaccine Development Facilities for European Inspectorate inspection & approval.  Project scope included upgraded walls, ceilings, floor coatings, HVAC system, and process support equipment.

Vaccine Development Fermentation Upgrades

Cost — $4M

Construction Management project to demolish and renovate clean room areas and install upgrades to facility.

EPCM Projects

Site—Facilities Renovation and Utilities Upgrades

Cost — $6.6M

Managed procurement, design and construction activities for a utility building expansion, renovation and upgrades.

CQ Lab Office Building

Cost — $29M

RGD partnered with architectural and engineering design firms for design—build of a 3—story 60,000 sqft facility on an existing plant site. Project scope included visitor welcome center, chemical quality laboratory, support personnel office space, and audit suite.

Plant Chiller Expansion

Cost — $11M

Provided engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning services to extend chiller building by 3 bays to accommodate a new electrical room, housing for new/future primary & secondary pumps and air separators, new chiller, future second chiller, and water treatment systems.
